Folder and Files for RVS and AS
*The maps folder is where your map file, loading screen, and .ini files are kept.
* .rsm file is the actual map made in the editor.
* .tga file is the loading screen that appears when the map is being loaded. This file is not needed. If it's missing, the default blank loading screen will appear.
* .ini is the file that has the server related settings. This file is needed to host a map, but not to play it on another server.
The modmap-reame-files is where readme files should be installed. This is assuming the author sets up the installer to do this. The utility Map Helper creates the readme in your maps folder.
* .txt (Text Document) is the standard file type for readme files. It is the most universal and takes up very little space. Others authors have used .doc (Word Document) or a .htm (Web Page) file. While these offer more possibilities for fancier readme's, they aren't as universal or they require multiple files)
The Mods folder is for expansion packs. At this time, there is only Athena Sword. If you go into the folder, you will see the AthenaSword folder. Once you go into that folder, you will see the same layout as what's in the RavenShield folder. If you make a Athena Sword only map, I would suggest you create the maps in the mods/AthenaSword directory. If you do this, the person who downloaded your map will know it's for Athena Sword.
The sounds folder is where the sound files are kept.
* .uax is the sound package file.
* .SB0 is a file I am not familiar with. Please email to clarify.
The staticmeshes folders is where the static meshes are kept.
* .usx is the static mesh file.
The system folder is where you will keep a file that is for single player games.
* .int is the file that provides information for single player game modes.
The template folder is were the terrorist and hostage files are kept.
* .tpt is the file that can determine general attributes for a terrorist or group of terrorist.
* .tph is the file that can determine general attributes for a hostage or group of hostages.
The textures folder is where the textures are kept.
* .utx is the texture file. If there are textures for static meshes, they are generally save as a separate file.
